Our purpose in providing guidelines for appearance and clothing is to show deference to one another as we are coming from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures. We wish to dress in a way that will be edifying to one another and that will not be distracting. Often our physical appearance can symbolize the value we place on our time together.
The guidelines are as follows:
  • Your appearance, including clothing and hair, should be neat, modest, and clean
  • Please wear shoes (i.e. no bare feet) during class and official functions.
  • Please wear clothes that completely cover your stomach and all undergarments, including straps. Please do not wear "spaghetti strap" or "wife-beater" type shirts.
  • We reserve the right to make specific requirements regarding appearance for class or certain ministry situations .
  • Your appearance should reflect consideration for others and your minitry without bringing opportunity to offend people who have different convictions.
